When did you start collecting?
I started to collect Pez containers when I was five years old. I traveled with my parents out east going to flea markets my entire summer.
We traveled to Pennsylvania, Maine, Maryland, Rhode Island, New York, and many other states looking for all sorts of antique items.
I am certain that I was bored quite often, so my mom convinced me to choose an item to start collecting… One of the very first booths that I walked into I found a Bozo the clown Pez container. From then on, I was hooked. Since then, I have traveled all over the United States looking for vintage Pez containers, and of course ,new ones too.

Most definitely. When I was about 10, my dad started making pottery figures. He made face jugs, Santa, snowman, and jack-o'-lanterns (to name a few).

He also made furniture and did elaborate oil paintings and watercolors. My mother made dolls and other folk art crafts. I was inspired by my parents and started making things along with them, including dresses for dolls, and even doll forms. Currently, I've been taking vintage materials, including materials from old doll clothes, to make coin purses and other handbags.
What are your favorite types of dolls?
My favorite of all dolls are Mary Engelbreit dolls. However, I consider my Pez collection dolls too.
